While still living in New York City Melanie Nolte founded her own agency for communications, PR and positioning, authentic communications“ in 2011 – after working in Strategic Communications at the United Nations in New York for four years. At the UN she took care of worldwide communications campaigns on various topics such as peace, human rights, UN Peacekeeping and Nelson Mandela. In 2012 she left for Frankfurt and has since then called the vibrant city at the Main River her home. Originally, she is from the small town Frankenberg (Eder) in the north of Hesse State. She has an academic background in journalism, history, media and constantly trains in psychology.
In 2019 Melanie Nolte was elected as a member of the Plenary Meeting as well as Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Frankfurt am Main, which are honorary positions. Since 2014 she has been engaging in several Committees of the Chamber. As Vice President she represents the Chamber’s 110.000 members in Frankfurt, Main-Taunus District and Hochtaunus Disctrict. The subjects she focuses on are International Business, Women in Business, Creative Economy, Honorable Entrepreneurship and Sustainability.
