Diploma in European Communities from the Diplomatic School of Madrid and the National Institute of Public Administration.
Honorary Doctorate from the Universidad de Las Américas in Chile.

Member of the Economic and Social Committee of the European Union (Member of the Foreign Affairs Section and of the Bureau of the Economic Section).
Vice-President of the Euroamerica Foundation.
Vice-President of the Spanish Section of the Federal Council of the European Movement.
Advisor on international and European issues to the Presidency of the CEOE.
Member of the Global International Advisory Council of CIPPEC.
