Barbara KONNER
Executive Vice-President of AHK Brazil in São Paulo

Since January 2023 Barbara Konner is acting as Executive Vice-President at the German-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in São Paulo.
From 2011 to 2022 she worked as Executive Vice-President of the German Chamber in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. Prior to joining the AHK- network, she was responsible for North and South America at the International Division of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) in Berlin.
After joining CEPAL (United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean) and GIZ (German Agency for International Cooperation) in Santiago de Chile in the field of SME politics and business promotion, Barbara took over different responsabilities at EXPO 2000 Hannover GmbH and the Chilean Embassy in Berlin.
Barbara Konner graduated in Economics and Political Science from the University of Cologne in Germany, completed her studies in Spain and as a DAAD- fellow (German Academic Exchange Service) in Argentina. In 2018 she joined an Executive Program at Singularity University in Silicon Valley, USA.
