Olga Baus Gibert has more than 20 years of professional career in the European Union external relations. She is currently working as Deputy Head of Unit in the Directorate General for International Partnerships of the European Commission, with responsibilities on country programmes for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Previously she has served in EU Delegations in Central America and Niger, and in the EU Representative Office for West Bank and Gaza. She was in charge of cooperation matters in relation to social and human development, good governance and green growth.
From 2008 to 2011, she worked on peacebuilding and crisis resolution in the EU crisis platform within the Directorate for External Relations of the European Commission.
